moka kadir (16 oz. valve pouch)
it's the full city roasts or darker where the beast is unleashed (uh, as they say),  and tarry dark molasses sweetness, thick inky body, and pungent spice come together with a dominating bittersweet chocolate taste.  moka kadir is a true dual-use blend, filter-drip as well as espresso.  Please notify us during your shopping cart checkout by clicking on the "contact seller" form  (located under shipping method) if you would like your coffee ground and include your brewing method to insure proper grind.

ethiopia wet process gera jimma (16 oz. valve pouch)
this lot is a sweet, delicate and well-structured cup, totally different from  the typical dry-process Jimma coffees. the fragrance from the dry grounds has stone fruit (peach, apricot) and honey. as i add the hot water, there is intensely sweet smell of apricot preserves, jammy, with floral scents as well.  the wet aroma is floral, peach tree in bloom, almond extract, a hint of cherry (city+ roast). the cup has very refined flavor characteristics, not a "big" coffee, but a restrained and articulate one.  at full city the chocolate starts to dominate. the body is relatively light, complimenting the cleanly disappearing sweetness and fruit jam flavors.  this is a coffee that intensifies greatly as           it cools, so to truly appreciate it, focus on the taste as the cup loses temperature.  Please notify us during your shopping cart checkout by clicking on the "contact
seller" form  (located under shipping method) if you would like your coffee ground and include your brewing method to insure proper grind.

mokha-java half caff (16 oz. valve pouch)
this blend starts out with a earthy/rustic classic mokha-java flavor profile but with a sweeter finish.  i'm not a decaf drinker by choice but i always enjoy cupping this blend!  Please notify us during your shopping cart checkout by clicking on the "contact seller" form  (located under shipping method) if you would like your coffee ground and include your brewing method to insure proper grind.

sumatra fto mandheling swiss water process decaf (16 oz. valve pouch)
the cup has low acidity, but bold foresty and earthy sumatra flavors. the dry fragrance and wet aroma have an abundance of this earth-toned character, but there is a rustic sweetness too, as well as herbal hints. the cup has a caramelly-earthy sweetness, and thick, dense body.  as it cools, a rustic sweetness emerges (like a malt syrup with an earthy aspect).  there is also a  molasses note at full city roast level.  Please notify us during your shopping cart checkout by clicking on the "contact seller" form  (located under shipping method) if you would like your coffee ground and include your brewing method to insure proper grind.

clever dripper
want a high-end coffee brewer on a mr. coffee budget?  here's the answer!  this isn't anything like the pour over filter cone you may be familiar with.  in essence, the clever coffee dripper combines the best features of french press and filter drip brewing, eliminating the drawbacks of each. With french press brewing, you have control over steeping time, but heat loss and sediment in the cup can be a problem. brewing with a paper filter is easy and convenient; the problem is lack of control over steeping time (i.e. the coffee begins to drain immediately). by adding a stopper to the filtercone, the clever coffee dripper combines control over steeping time with a sediment-free cup. this is called "full immersion brewing".   they also come with a lid! the lid is important to keep the brew hot during infusion.  i recommend using #4 melitta cone filters which are available at most major grocery stores.  this is one of our favorite brew methods!
